My Client a large Investment Bank is looking for a Credit Risk Business Analyst/Modeller to join their team based in Amsterdam. The successful candidate MUST have Credit Risk & Modelling experience working in the banking/financial sector.
Job Requirements
Technical Skills/Hard skills
• Programming skills particularly reading and understanding of Oracle/SAS code is a plus.
• Converting modelling requirements into functional specifications waterproof
• Control of technical analysts and programmers using code
• Must understand exactly what modelling will receive in terms of structured datasets
• Before the final data set is complete, the business analyst this table have exactly the screen (build and send it to the final result).
• Various data in terms of levels of PD, EAD and LGD requirement
• Is able to define substantive solutions taking into account the impact on data quality and set requirements
• Be able based on the data sets to perform initial data checks and propose solutions
• Be able to form an absolute opinion about the quality of the data and how it can be used for modelling purposes
• Practical experience in building a “modelling” data set based on source tables is required.
• Being able to analyze large amounts of complex data.
• MS Excel and MS Access are inappropriate tools for the above exercise.
Skills/Experience Required:
• Knowledge/experience with SAS, Oracle/SQL (MS Access is limited).
• Source Analysis in a Datawarehouse environment.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of complex data across different IT systems.
• Thorough knowledge of credit risk models (PD, EAD and LGD models).
• Thorough knowledge of credit risk models (PD, EAD and LGD models)
• Understand the content of the data requirements modellers are
• Distinguish between key variables and “nice-to-have” variables.
• Good knowledge of credit and the process of lending is required.
• Understanding that outstanding amounts, limits, facility types, facilities and impairments key input variables for the EAD and LGD models
• Good knowledge of accounting is required.
• Understanding the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and financial data radios serve as input for the PD models

Our Client, a major UK Banking Group, is looking to recruit a SOX Tester, for a Contract role to be based in London.
You will be an expert on Sarbanes Oxley, delivering and executing SOX responsibilities, you will assess the effectiveness of the controls environment and perform appropriate planning, reviews, and testing, and make recommendations as appropriate.
You will assist with the annual planning & monthly monitoring of targets and document in-scope SOX processes including risk overlays, flowcharts, process narratives, process risk assessments, hand offs, and test plans. You will assess & test the effectiveness of the overall controls environment and key IT and Non IT controls within that environment and compile reports to Business Units on a monthly basis. You will assisting with SOX oversight and manage relationships with the business units and third party suppliers. You will also manage various members of the team to achieve the above responsibilities and providing career advice, management & training to direct reports.

My client, a leading and award winning private London hospital are seeking an ACA/ACCA Audit Manager or Head of Audit to join their organisation as the stand alone Head of Audit. As the Head of Audit you would be reporting to Audit Committee and managing operational and financial audits and also be involved in ad hoc projects including quality assurance of new system implementation. The ideal candidate will have a Top 20 background, ACA or ACCA accountancy qualification and recent private sector experience.
Key responsibilities will include developing a flexible annual audit plan using an appropriate risk based methodology along with investigating suspected fraudulent activities and notifying the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer and Audit Committee of the results. This stand alone position will require frequent communications with Chief Financial Officer or the Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Another key area will be the development of a quality assurance and improvement programme that will cover all aspects of the internal auditing activity and enable continuous monitoring of its effectiveness. This programme will be designed to help Internal audit add value and improve operations and will also provide assurance that auditing practices confirm to the Standards and Code of Ethics of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
